📏 Step‑by‑Step Measuring Guide

1. Measure the Height (H)

  • Place the end of your tape measure flat on the deck beside the winch.
  • Pull the tape straight up to the very top of the winch drum.
  • Record this number as Height (H).
  • Tip: Keep the tape vertical — don’t angle it or follow the curve of the winch.

2. Measure the Base Circumference (C)

  • Wrap a flexible tape measure around the base of the winch, right where it meets the deck.
  • Make sure the tape is level all the way around.
  • Pull snug but not tight.
  • Record this number as Circumference (C).

🧮 What These Measurements Determine

  • Height (H) → determines the vertical size of the cover body.
  • Circumference (C) → determines the width of the fabric panel and the size of the circular top.
